Unbelievably pretty is this surreal looking antique hand blown collectible with its transcendent silvery glow. The amazing silvery sheen is within the glass itself. It is not due to exterior 'frosting' or sand-blasting but some quality in the formula of the glass itself. This wonderful vintage fishing float - the size of a large grapefruit - glows in the light of the day and casts a supernatural sheen in low light.

Measuring 4-1/4" diameter or 13" in circumference, Jade Sea is the color of jade with a silvery sheen - or a rich teal green. The body of the float shows a reflective, light swirling in the high quality antique glass, alluring and beautiful. The glass is quite thick, a good heavy weight with light to medium (if that) surface wear. What an extreme beauty!

The seal 'button' is extra large and basically round in shape. It has been well placed with a small chunk of glass adhering to the surface, like an identifying birth mark. The surround edges are smooth and in terrific condition with one tiny nick in the entire surround edge. Negligible in my opinion and somewhat miraculous that this seal button escaped decades without damage, as it appears the float may not have worn a net. Though nets often provided little to no protection anyway as the seal buttons were mostly exposed to the elements. Opposite the 'eye' of the seal is a spectacular, very large jade colored 'pearl' - as a lovely form of signature to 'Jade Sea'.

Thank you for helping to care for vintage fishing floats which are rapidly being replaced with plastic or synthetic floats.

I value your time and energy. Thank you for your interest in lightinawormhole. Whether you purchase or not, Best Wishes!

SHIPPING: I am happy to offer Priority shipping for this float. It will be double boxed with extra insulation for maximal protection of its antiquity while in transit. The cost is $12.00. This includes your tracking number and insurance. It will be packed with absolute care. *** Please allow 1 to 3 days to ship and 2 to 3 days for the carrier. You should receive it in a week, likely less. If you require the item quicker, please let me know and I’ll ship it fast! ***

COMBINED SHIPPING: Yes - I will combine! Floats of generally similar size & weight can be combined so you save on shipping. These decisions are made at the actual time of packing, using my best judgment to keep items safe from damage in transit, protecting them maximally. Best option is to pay the shipping on each item up front. A shipping refund will be issued promptly through Paypal once your parcel or parcels are complete. My customers will confirm I am happy to do this. If this doesn’t work for you, convo for a ‘guesstimate’ on combined shipping of items.

CANADA: USPS has omitted insurance from the economy (1st Class International) shipping category. Priority International is the next best available method yet not cost effective in my opinion, unless purchasing two or three items & combining shipping. Please convo for a quote if interested. My sincere apologies!

THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR TIME AND INTEREST. HOPE YOU RE-VISIT lightinawormhole.
