Welcome to New England in the post WWII years!

Fabulous and rare vintage tablecloth celebrates the Southern New England states: Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.

Lots of fun cartoon graphics document historical locations as well as fun recreational places of interest. Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower are right by the Edaville Railroad, a family fun park. Old Sturbridge Village is near Lake Chargoggagoggmanchoggagogg, considered the longest place name in the U.S.

Also note the graphic for the Melton Museum in Connecticut, an auto museum which operated from 1948-1953 which helps us date this cloth to the post war years.

In mint, unused condition, this retains a tiny remnant of its original paper tag as well as its sizing.

Made of cactus cloth, a nubby cotton common to vintage souvenir cloths, this measures 35x37. No holes but 1 small storage spot which I mention only for accuracy as it in no way detracts from this stunning piece.

Wow!
