A sewing pattern for a farmyard puppet set in vintage primitive or colonial style.
Alternativly, you could make them without strings just as funky soft toys.
They are very easy to make and customise. The pattern is printable on A4 paper to give a toy about 8 inches high but they can be made any size: the original pattern needed enlarging anyway.
I have made sure they will print accurately proportioned if set to print 100 percent on A4 paper.
NB The instructions are on a grid to enlarge to the full size shown in the photograph, but this can be done easily on a copier.

The instructions also say to use wire to hold on the limbs- but I think these days we tend to be more aware of the possible danger of this sort of thing and so buttons and thick thread would work well and also probably look much better!
