This is a piece of antique homespun linen, made in the late 1800's. It is a medium weight and measures 34" x 44". It's in very strong condition with no holes or thin spots, however, it does have what looks like a water stain at one end. This stain is at the edge of the long end, extending about 5" into the fabric (photo #2). The rest of the piece has a somewhat mottled, uneven coloring, but not bad at all, especially considering what it looked like when I acquired it - it was literally brown, and it took weeks of soaking to bring it to its present condition. Perhaps more soaking would lighten it a bit more, but I think it's quite acceptable the way it is. I would describe its color now as "oatmeal" (it's darker than the photos). If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
