Garnet's most popular identity is that of it being the Birthstone for January.
Garnet's name comes from the latin-granatum word meaning sees of pomegranate. This stone is the one to wear when seeking that knight in shining armor. Garnet is the love stone. Associated for drawing passion and romance to the wearer.
This 16" necklace is gracefully created with a feel of Egyptian antiquity to it. I also feel that perhaps Cleopatra may have worn something like this. The color is rich and grounding. There is a citrine drop at the sterling clasp for the added touch of sun energy.
These antique balls- that are actually in the shape of a bell, are from the Middle east. This is the end of the supply for me and my resource.
This piece can be dressy or casual- as most of my pieces. It is delicate to the eye, but very substantial. The little bell- balls will twist and move while held or worn.
