And they are a nice dark green, in some of the pictures it looks a little yellow green...they aren't yellowish. Nice farm green :)

The inside hole diameter is 1.25" wide and is approx 7/8" tall. These coils come from hay bale pick up tines (google that if you wanna see what they look like). I have cut them, cleaned them, then I painted the cut ends and varnished the entire 'ring' inside and out with a non-toxic water based finish.

It is not recommended to soak these in water, that could break down the varnish and cloud it up. It is fine to wipe it with a wet cloth if food gets on it. You could always revarnish them either with a brush or spray.

Unique, one of a kind table paraphernalia for your rustic/industrial loft.

Frequently asked questions about PaulaArt

I stock up on old pipes so I can make several utensil holders for home/office use. For large quantities I offer discounts. Contact me if you have any questions.
Keep in mind that just because many of my pieces are heavy metal, things can still break if dropped on the floor. I nut and bolt objects, epoxy them and weld. (even heat welded objects can break if hit just right) I take great care when shipping to protect your art through transit. I am not responsible for what happens to it after you get it! If a pet or child knocks something over and it crashes to the ground and breaks it does not reflect poor craftmanship on my end! Also, keep in mind that I am working with found materials that are aged and in many cases pretty rusted ~ if you leave them outside you can expect more rust over time due to humidity/wetness. If using indoors keep away from sink areas or where water is present.
If over time you notice any rust forming that doesn't bode well with you, GENTLY sand the area and spray or brush on an oil based varnish/polyurethane. Heavily rusted pieces, kitchen & jewelry holders are usually painted and/or varnished twice.
