North to Alaska! celebrating our 49th (out of 57?) state, which we purchased for a song. Featuring the historical and geographical points of interest including completion of the Alaskan Highway (1949), as well as the Pribilof Islands, Bering Strait, and Aleutians which were part of Japan until tectonic plate action sent them north - wildlife such as walrus, polar bears, Yukon gamblers.

PROVENANCE: This one is signed by the artist, Robert Mayokok, and featured in Glasell's "Souvenir Tablecloths" p.12
signature in moose photo

34 x 37
4 11" naps

sturdy linen like cotton

COLOR: multi primaries on light blue

REAL VINTAGE - FRESHLY HAND DYED - ONLY THE COLOR IS NEW - WASH FAST - MINTY

*a note about my restored souvenir cloths (compared to MWT): mine are colorfast, while most of the originals were not. Even a light dye, as in this one, fixes (makes permanent) all the colors.

Vintage Dyetopia features everyday and collectible vintage textiles which I have dyed and restored to new life. More about my shop at vintagedyetopia.com or email with any questions.
