This sewing chatelaine is not a show stopper, but it does have an interesting story.

The cover fabric is embroidered ivory cotton that was once a lady's jabot - rather old fashioned, really. The feature I liked best about the jabot was the tiny crochet covered buttons, which I removed and repositioned on the scissors case and needle case. To add a bit of fancy, I canabalized a remnant of bobble lace to make the flowers on each case. The chain is detachable. If you are looking for a sturdy chatelaine without attitude, here you are. It would make a thoughtful gift for any woman - daughter, granddaughter, daughter-in-law, dear friend, or maybe for yourself. Every woman could use an extra pair of embroidery scissors for all of life's small snips.

Scissors and needle threader included. Comes boxed.
