Produced by Upsala Ekeby in 1955, these two cups and matching saucers are absolutely stunning. Designed by Eugen Trost, this particular pattern is called "Rod Aster", and is nothing if not Mid Century Scandinavian! Strikingly similar to the simplistic style of Stig Lindberg's "Spisa Ribb" (which was released the same year), these cups and saucers feature gorgeous cranberry-tinted stripes on stark white ceramic. In typical Swedish fashion, with the form and function of this duo coinciding to showcase the beauty of simplicity, these cups look incredibly modern over 50 years later! With no chips or cracks whatsoever, this pair would make a welcome addition to your Mid Century Scandinavian collection!

Each cup measures 2.5" tall, and saucers have a 5" diameter.
