Vintage Vogart, Hot-Iron transfers!

Vogart made embroidery, transfer patterns in the 1940s and '50s for fabulous housewives to elevate their home linens! Table cloths, chair cushions, throw pillows and tea-towels were all up-cycled into cuter home furnishings!

You too can update your linens using these great transfers! Due to their age and delicacy, I do NOT recommend you use your iron but rather trace image onto cotton using a light box or your window.

This posting is for original Vogart transfer pattern #110, "All purpose assortment of designs for scarfs, cases, cloths, etc." Set comes with original cover which measures 8" inches by 6" inches and is in great condition. Inside are 10 cut-out transfer pattern pieces, a large one depicting four baskets of bouquets, and smaller ones with the words "guest" on it, maidens watering flowers, floral trim and fruit. These were used in the past and it shows. There were ironed on and dried out, so every time you unfold the pieces, some ink flakes off, so be careful it can get messy.

Thanks for looking!
