My dad created these sterling silver earrings with a method called lost wax castings from real trilobite fossils. These earrings dangle from sterling balls on silver posts. They’ll certainly attract attention.

Silver trilobite: almost 3/8” x 5/16”
Total length: 5/8”

All measurements are approximate. These earrings were packed away new, and have never been worn. I polished them back to a new-looking glow.

My dad handcrafted silver jewelry in the 1980s and took his work to California craft shows. Everything was packed away when my brother was in a car accident (he’s doing fine now). After the family moved, they got packed even deeper. But mom was digging through boxes lately and rediscovered them. When I told him about Etsy, Dad asked me to add them to my shop.

Thanks for looking!
