What a great vintage find! From the 1897 National Standard Family and Business Atlas of the World comes this fantastic FLAGS of ALL NATIONS.

This atlas was published in 1896 by Fort Dearborn Publishing Company. All maps and populations are according to the 1890 census.

This was recently 'rescued' along with several maps from a local estate. Sadly, the binding and covers of the atlas were in disrepair. Fortunately, the majority of the maps were able to be salvaged.

Book page measures approximately 11" x 14 1/2". Chart measures approximately 9 3/4" x 12". Please note while the book page measures 11" x 14 1/2", your chart will also include an added 1/2" from the book binding (to better assist with matting, if needed). Binding edge will include staple holes and small tears.

Reverse side shows another complete or partial map.

Bottom edge does show a damp stain below the page number, which also runs 2 1/2" along left edge. Tear to bottom edge below page number.

Wonderfully aged with great color!

Would look fantastic framed and matted! Could also be Ideal for use with collage, assemblage, mixed media, altered art, scrapbooking or card making projects.
