I was so tickled when I opened an early 1800's quilt, to find the batting filling being a 'sheet' stitched together of old dress pieces!

This is a nice large lot of these fabrics all in good primitive condition...some of small holes...a couple have rips....and we've not washed them. But they are JUST as we took them apart from the quilt. Sewing threads and all. I LOVE THEM. A great study in mid 1800's fabrics...even though these pieces were stitched together by a machine..I believe these date 1870's -1880's from dating the fabric off the quilt top. Talk about using what they had...these were used for batting...and it was a pretty heavy quilt.

We have not wash these..we leave that up to you. There is alot of fabric here..10oz!!

You will receive:
8- green linen sizes range from 5-1/2" sq to 11-1/2 x 24"
3- eggplant linen sizes from 5" x 5" to 9"x 13"
7- black silk sizes from 5"x 4" to 8 x 58"
8- tan cotton linen sizes from 6 x 9 to 5" x 43

A great bunch of old fabrics...solid, strong with great colors. :)
