A vintage 1923 book, The Jay Bird Who Went Tame by John Breck. A Told at Twilight Stories First Edition HC. Classic children's illustrated literature. A lovely old book with a beautiful full color cover. Perfect for displaying and reading!

This is a First Edition, copyright 1923, with 8 lovely b&w illustrations throughout.

The binding is tight and for the most part the pages are clean and free of rips and tears. In very good condition for its age (over 90 years old), however there are a few areas to point out:

- Some minor soiling on the cover and inside, but nothing that detracts from the beauty and usefulness of this sweet old book.

- Inscription on first end paper reads: Mary Josephine Varnum, July 28, 1925

- Contents page has a tiny tear/foldover at the top of the page (approx. 1/8" x 1/4")

- Minor corner bumping to the pages and cover
