Serve some authentic 1950s canapes at your next cocktail party or dinner!

This fun little book, published by Peter Pauper Press in 1953, is filled with classic recipes for canapes and snacks ranging from butterfly shrimps to grated Swiss cheese and clams, from soft shell crab on toast to salami pin wheels. There all almost 62 pages of recipes, by Edna Beilenson with cute illustrations by Ruth McCrea.

Hard cover. 62 pages. Dust jacket included.

The book itself is in very good possibly never used condition. The only imperfection is the gift inscription written in red pen on first blank page. The dust jacket has a tear on the top back spine, and a tiny bit of wear on the corners.
