Belle of Dirt's Purple Dead Nettle Salve
Materials: purple dead nettle, shea butter, beeswax, orange oil, nettle, organic nettle, nettle plants, nettle salve, dead nettle, cobalt glass, purple nettle, dandelion, aloe vera
Volume: 1 fluid ounces
I have 20 jars of this current batch, once they're gone, they're gone.
I blended large batches of organically grown purple dead nettle with Shea butter, dandelion flowers, Aloe Vera, beeswax and orange oil to create a salve that is soothing relief for burns, cuts, bruises, rashes, dry chapped skin or eczema.
Personally, I use it for SO many things, it makes great lip balm, I've healed mystery rashes with it that wouldn't respond to commercial or prescription creams, it's great on rough cuticles, splits in heels or fingers, even our dog's ears when they are itchy and dry.
Yes, this product is a bit more than commercial or over the counter products, but you KNOW what's in it and I can pronounce all the ingredients. The batches are limited and therefore not sitting on a shelf in a warehouse somewhere for years before they reach store shelves. I grow the plants organically in my garden without chemicals or pesticides.
Dead nettle is an edible weed in the mint family, full of vitamins A and C. It is valued by herbalists for its anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.
Ingredients: Purple dead nettle plants, 100% natural African Shea Butter, Yellow beeswax, dandelion flowers, Aloe Vera, food grade essential orange oil.
I use 1oz. Glass dark cobalt or dark amber jars to protect the product from sunlight. There are NO PRESERVATIVES OR ARTIFICIAL INGREDIENTS in this product. To preserve the strength of your salve over time, please refrigerate or store in a cool, dark place. I can guarantee potency for a year, as I am still using some of last year's batch and it still works wonderfully. Past a year, I haven't tested it personally.
Every batch of product is used by myself and any family or friends I manage to smear some on. While every ingredient in this salve is food grade and natural, it is intended for external use only. It’s recommended that you do a patch test on the inside of your arm and wait 24 hours on first use. If you experience rash or irritation, wash area well and discontinue use immediately.
I only make small batches at a time as plants become seasonally available. I plant, grow and harvest these plants from my own garden and property. Once stock is sold out, that particular salve may not be available again until next year or it may have different stuff in it.
* Product may become liquid in warm/hot temperatures. Melting doesn’t damage the salve’s integrity. Just put your jar in a cool place or pop in the fridge for an hour to let the beeswax re-solidify.

I got this because I heard dead nettle helped with arthritis. I don't know if it helps yet because I haven't used it long enough, but I loved the fact that the salve didn't have any scent and it feels nice.
This painting on saw blade is absolutely beautiful!!!
