Wow, this is an unusual and quite rare needlepoint...my husband picked this up for me at Round Top this past month because he knew I would go nuts over it...and he was right. I am dating this to the Art Deco period and pretty sure it is American made...it has a gorgeous raised needlepoint with embroidery throughout...I have never seen this type of needlework before...it is very complex..I am thinking it was a chair cover due to the shape. It is very colorful with wool threads. This is underneath glass but there are a few tiny holes in the textile..very minimal stitch loss..newer mat and frame.. gorgeous and ready to hang on your wall...It is something very special...J'adore!

Size: 16 1/2" x 16 1/2" approx Sorry..no international shipping
