Wheel Thrown and RAKU fired vase. This one of a kind original art piece has red--orange undertones with highlights of green and flashes of copper, blue, gold and greens caused by the RAKU process and subsequent reduction effect when removed from the kiln.

This vase is perfect for a home decoration piece by itself, or include a dry flower arrangement in it. If using real flowers you will need to use a plastic liner to keep the water from seeping thru this vase. RAKU firing does not completely vitrify the clay.

Vase measures 4 3/4" high, 1 5/8 " wide at rim, 3" wide t base and 4" wide at widest point.

Small Raku Vase with red-orange undertones, greens and flashes of copper and blues
