PDF pattern for a Paper Foundation Pieced Quilt Block

Pattern makes a 12" block. Includes a color photo of the block and the entire Savannah Quilt (12 separate blcok patterns), foundation patterns, layout and color key, finishing instrucions, and embroidery details PLUS How to Paper Foundation PIece with color photos.

The Mercer House is one of my Historic Savannah Quilt Squares - a collection of Historic Savannah buildings in paper-foundation pieced 12” blocks. Combine to make an entire quilt!

This house was designed by Joh Norris in 1860. Unfinished during the Civil War, its timbers were removed by U.S. soldiers to build shelters in Monterey Square. It was finally completed in 1869. Jim Williams owned this eclectic combination of Greek Revival, Italian Villa, and Renaissance Revival styles, and was a participant in a notorious murder here. (He was finally acquitted after 3 trials). The story of the owner, and Savannah, is told in the book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

PLEASE NOTE: this is a listing for the pattern, not completed quilt. The pattern is for ONE block, not the entire Savannah Quilt.

I made this book bag for my niece's 11th birthday. Turned out so cute! I jazzed up the outside with ribbon accent and "groovy" flowers. I guess tie-dye and 70s style is back in style.

I love this pattern. I had to repurchase it as I lost everything on my hard drive. I was glad to pay for it twice because I love it so much.

Love this book cover. I'm completely new to sewing but this pattern was easy to follow and I love the result. Will be making more of these, it was fun, thank you!

This pattern was extremely easy to follow! The pictures are great and the explanations are very helpful! Very impressed with this. I have almost finished my purse. The part that takes the longest is getting everything cut out and interfaced. The rest went very quickly!
