Antique Wooden Advertising Sign from the 1800's

This old "For Sale" sign from Philadelphia is extremely worn but with lots of character! Wooden and painted black with the details written in gold but now chippy text. This primitive sign is two sided, advertising "For Sale" on one side and "For Rent" on the other. Both sides bear the proprietors name and probably what was the company address. The address is located in Philadelphia, PA and was probably operating in what was considered the old Brewerytown of Philadelphia.

This is an awesome piece of Americana! Very primitive, very collectible and a rare find in this condition.

Measures 20" wide x 13 1/2" tall. Paint is chipping, wood is very old and worn but the piece is intact and structurally sound. It has two eye hooks screws at the top for hanging.
