You need this watercolor journal! I created these handmade sketchbooks so you can have a fast and easy place to create your art. You can pop the artist journal into your bag quickly and be ready to make art at a moment's notice.

This handbound book was stitched together with the Coptic stitch. This is a book binding stitch that has been around for thousands of years. The covers are made from acid-free chipboard. The cover is covered with premium cotton fabric and is lined with acid-free cardstock. The best thing about these journals is that they lay flat when open. This lets you work across the width of two pages with ease. The pages are made from 140lb cold press Canson XL watercolor paper. This paper can handle a variety of wet, dry, or mixed media. The binding thread is cotton embroidery floss that has been waxed. These inch mixed media journals make a great travel diary or even a gratitude journal. There are a variety of page count options, counting page fronts only (double the number shown to calculate usable sides).

The fabric pattern may vary slightly from the photos. This depends upon the pattern repeat and the placement of the cuts. I do this to cut down on fabric waste. The stitching may vary slightly from the photos shown.
