///Temporary Hold/////

Antique signet ring, set with a flat onyx cabochon and the initial A in sterling silver in the center. This was a gentleman's ring, size 11 to 11.25.

It has the Clark and Coombs mark that was in use in 1922. Don't know how long it was used, the ampersand is tilted left. Also has a sterling mark.

The front measures slightly more than 1/2 by 1/2 inch.

The rhodium finish is worn, almost gone on the back with more finish around the onyx. Minor surface wear to the metal and a light patina. The stone looks great.

Bold and strong but also works on a woman's hand.. Circa 1930/40.
