Vintage flashlight from 1939. Made by Stewart R. Browne from Tuffite, a composite material they invented.

A beautiful flashlight. Perfect for the collector. Almost looks like it is made of burl wood with the different brown tones. Light bulb and glass cover are still in place. Switch moves. Metal hanging hook.

Great display piece only as I don't think it works any longer.
Sadly, I found it still full of batteries that had eroded.

Still looks good for its age. Has normal scuff and nicks that you would expect from a 70+ year old flashlight.

Measures just about 10 1/2" long.
