This is another pull from our personal clock collection, a 1960's New England Clock Co. chapel, or chalet 8 day weight driven wall clock. It's a beautiful clock that is 30 inches from the top of the weather vane to the bottom wooden part. This will take up a good part of a wall when hanging up, but it looks very impressive. These are very hard to find in any condition. They are making remakes of this clock by another company located in the midwest, for $600.

A new nut was added to keep the hands secure on the shaft and a new suspension spring was put in place so the clock could run. As of now the clock runs, but the chimes do not work . The chimes will definitely have to be looked at to make this 100%. Other than that, it is complete. The clock is run by the 2 weights hanging down. One is for the time and the other is for the Cathedral gongs.

We have another chapel clock listed, but it is an 8 day windup and is missing parts. That's the only difference between the two. The case is pine and has some scratches and rubs to the finish, but it still looks good hanging on a wall. If you collect clocks, this is a must have clock to add to your collection. It is a large clock that will grab anyone's attention. Shipping will be high due to the size and weight of the clock. Local pickup is always welcome, but please let us know before purchasing so we can make changes to the listing.
