Handmade Ceramic Garlic Keeper | Kitchen Storage Jar Fresh Garlic Bulbs

You'll be wanting to cook Italian and garlic-laden dishes all the time when you have this stylish ceramic garlic keeper nearby for storing fresh garlic bulbs. It's perfect gift for anyone who loves to cook! This lidded ceramic garlic keeper jar with ventilation holes is a neat and tidy way to store garlic cloves. I made it on my pottery wheel in my Oregon studio out of stoneware clay, incising air holes throughout the jar while the clay was soft.

The exterior design features layered glazes in shades of red, brown, tan and teal. It was fired in a gas kiln to 2300 degrees F and is very durable. Great for storing shallots, as well.

I made two of these jars recently. They measure 6 inches high x 5 inches across. Each will hold 3 large garlic bulbs. I signed it on the bottom rim. The second garlic jar shown in the later photos features a loop instead a cylinder for a knob. You can choose either or both jars using the drop down menu.
