Clifton Connery gently slid open his top dresser drawer and pulled out a large black velvet box. He set the box on the top of the dresser and lifted the lid. “Which one will it be tonight?” He said to himself as he perused the selection of cuff links that lay in neat rows within the box. He imagined the kind of people he might be meeting that night, the intrigue, the uncertainty--it made his heart begin to race. He imagined himself at the roulette table with two beautiful women on each side of him as he slid a stack of chips on to a number, his cuff link shimmering in the light. “I think it will be the blue marble and silver ones tonight.” he said as he pulled the pair out of the place in the box. Yes Clifton would be living in the fast lane that evening at the Davenport, Iowa Rotary Club Casino Night fundraising event. His heart swelled with pride with the fact that in his own little way he was contributing to the new bandstand at the city park.

For sale is a set of oval silver-tone metal cuff links with what looks like dark blue marble inlay. They also have an elegant gold-tone braiding detail around the marble. They are 15/16" (2cm) X 5/8" (1.5cm). We think this pair is from the 1960's maybe early 70's.

These cuff links are in good vintage condition. The metal is shiny with minimal scratches. The marble material is nice and smooth--no cracks or chips.
