The date that most closely resembles corduroy, 11|11|11 has come upon us, and to commemorate this momentous date the Plush Team has teamed up with the Corduroy Appreciation Club. A collection of 11 corduroy-inspired plush created by 11 members of the Plush Team has resulted. These pieces were displayed at the grand meeting celebrating all things corduroy at the Desmond Tutu Center in Manhattan on this most auspicious date. These pieces are now available to the public to celebrate this every man's fabric in their own private collections.

About the Club:
The Corduroy Appreciation Club is a social club which wishes to cultivate good fellowship by the advancement of Corduroy awareness, understanding, celebration and commemoration of the fabric and all related items. Club events are held on dates which resemble Corduroy. Explore the club and all its wonders further at http://corduroyclub.com/

All Hail the Wale!!!

Meet the Pinwale Pin Whale. The Corduroy Appreciation Club’s main public symbol is the whale. The whale is a homonym of wale. Wale, or wales, is the raised portion of Corduroy fabric—its most distinctive trait and what makes Corduroy, Corduroy. Whales also possess attributes the CAC and its membership wish to exude: strength, endurance, intelligence, sociability, and mystery. The Whale should always be facing left.

This piece is approximately 5 inches (12.5 cm) high and 5.5 inches (14 cm) in diameter; the whale is 1.5 inches (4 cm) tall. Plumply stuffed with fiberfill, Pinwale Pin Whale is ready to meet all your pin organizing needs.

Because he is, in fact, a wild aquatic animal, Pin Wale Pinwhale is not intended for small children, especially those under the age of three.
