The Missouri Botanical Garden is my favorite place in the world, and I only live 10 minutes away from it. I'm very fortunate. The garden becomes a little slice of heaven on earth in spring, with it's riotous beds of daffodils, hyacinths, and tulips, along with the light, airy crabapples ready to burst into bloom. I painted this on location in late March, during one of the few dry, sunny days in spring.

The size is 12 inches high by 16 inches wide. It is done on Richeson premium pastel panel. It has a toothy coating to trap and hold the pastel particles. It is not yet framed, so you get to choose the frame that suits you.

I use only high quality professional artist materials. I use a variety of soft pastels: Unison, Sennelier, Schminke, Rembrandt, Great American, Prismacolor nupastel, and Unison, made in England, France, Germany, and the USA.

I take special care when shipping. Shipping fee includes labor and material costs of packaging, priority shipping, tracking and insurance.
