I believe in restoring our Catholic identity in a culture that has lost its way. I am passionate in helping you to be reunited with your heavenly family by experiencing the amazing treasures that exist in the Catholic Faith. These treasures are a fountain of God’s grace waiting to be unleashed in your life to fight against modern temptations, heal the wounds of your soul and bring you everlasting peace. I handcraft high quality heirloom rosaries, chaplets, and religious jewelry that incorporate the best of these treasures into truly beautiful designs that will tell everyone who you are. You have no time to lose, reclaim your identity!

The Church has withstood the test of time for over 2000 years, likewise, Immaculata Designs has embraced the idea of permanence in each design. Every rosary has been wire wrapped using solid bronze or stainless steel wire for durability. The beads are selected from top quality gemstones, crystal, or other high quality materials. The medals are sterling silver, solid bronze, or pewter. This combination of beauty and durability defines an Immaculata Design rosary. In addition, your rosary will be beautifully packaged in a gift box ready to be given the moment it arrives as a special gift for your loved one or you!

The First Communion rosary that I have handcrafted is simply stunning. Each element is classic, but refined and presented in a modern way. The Crucifix and Center have been hand cast from an antique medal. The Center is a beautiful reminder of the precious day of her First Holy Communion, but it is so beautiful and strong that it can stand on it’s own for the rest of her life. The beads are some of the most beautiful that I have ever made into a rosary. They are classic Mother of Pearl but in an exquisite faceted rodelle cut. If I had a daughter, this would be her rosary (and my grand-daughters later)! Many may ask, why so much for a child’s rosary? Well, I still have my First Communion rosary....except it’s in several pieces and the plating on the wire and medals is chipping. What a shame for such an important occasion. This rosary is why I take so much time to wire wrap and choose heirloom parts to work with. I don’t ever want any of my rosaries to break and I want them to be passed down to the next generation, becoming more beautiful with age.

What does Heirloom Quality mean?
My heirloom quality designs and construction mean that one day you may find one of my designs on display in a museum as an ancient artifact. That might be a bit optimistic, but I do design my rosaries to last for generations! I fully intend for your rosary to endure the normal wear and tear of life and maybe even a catastrophic event! I want the Rosary that you buy to be the same rosary passed down to your grandchild!

What is Wire-Wrapping?
Wire-wrapping is a process that takes a straight piece of wire and manipulates it into a loop with a wire wrapped around it’s bottom. It produces the strongest and most durable enclosure for the bead that is extremely difficult to break or pull off.

Why is it important for Rosaries?
I will not tolerate broken rosaries - period! With a wire-wrapped rosary you almost eliminate the chances of the rosary breaking. It will withstand a child yanking on it or being carried in your pocket or purse. Although, a wire-wrapped rosary can break, I have only had three that have needed to be fixed in the 13 years that I have been making rosaries.

What is Patina?
Patina is tarnish that forms on the surface of bronze, copper, brass and silver metals, caused by oxidation and can be used decoratively in fine jewelry and metalworking.

How does Patina effect my Rosaries?
Each rosary is handcrafted with new wire. The color of the new wire is shiny and bright and often doesn’t match the bronze Crucifix and Center. Over time the wire will patina in a darker, richer color and match the Crucifix and Center. One exception to this is the stainless steel wire used for the Sterling or Pewter Rosaries. This will always stay bright and shiny and perfectly match your medals.
