This bread tray is marked on the bottom:

Apollo Silver Co.
Quadruple Plate
Serial number164

the tray measures appr. 12 in x 6.5 in

Apollo Silver Co. was founded in New York in 1885 and was succeeded by Bernard Rice's Sons in 1899. The company made silver plated items. Bernard Rice's Sons used "Apollo Silver Co." as one of its marks. The company went out of business in 1959.

I am trying to take good pictures and describe everything as best as I can. I am not sure if the tray is silver or pewter. I can not find any information if Apollo Silver ever made any items made of pewter. The tray has patina and needs some cleaning if you wish. I do not clean, launder or alter vintage items. Comes to you as you see it in picture. No decoration included.
