This quilt design is just right for lovers of photography or anyone who just enjoys a fun graphic ‘pop’ of color. The pattern is easily adapted to several layouts. Choose to make the cover design with eight Shutterbug blocks surrounding a camera applique or make nine Shutterbug blocks as shown in the alternate layout in this pattern. Additionally, make just four of the blocks and arrange them 2x2 for a delightful baby quilt.
While these blocks might look complicated, they actually go together in a snap with a partial seams technique. And this pattern will walk you through every step — from piecing the blocks to attaching the appliqués — With more than twelve pages of detailed instructions as well as full-color illustrations. Making the quilt is a fun skill-building activity for any quilter who wants to add a new technique to their toolbox.
