Frozen Charlotte Reliquary Brooch/Pendant with Antiqued Brass Filigree, Pleated Ribbon, German Bisque Doll with Tiny Painted Heart.

**Unique Designs in Steampunk Jewelry**

This darling brooch is part of my "N'Oubliez Pas" Series (meaning 'to not forget') which incorporates upcycled relics of children long ago. It features a Frozen Charlotte doll that dates to the late 1800s and was dug from the ruins of a doll factory in Germany. The little doll is housed in a recessed shrine type setting which I custom made with wood. The inside is painted with a bright Emperor's Gold. It is surrounded by pleated satin ribbon and finished with an antiqued brass filigree. I painted a tiny red heart on the Frozen Charlotte for a sweet unexpected detail. This brooch, along with my Absinthe liquor label necklace and my Art Nouveau money clip, was chosen to be featured in the 2011 April/May issue of Auxiliary Magazine!

It measures 3 inches tall by 2.25 inches wide and has a safety 'c' type pin closure with a soldered bail so it can also be worn as a necklace. Because it is mostly made of wood, it is exceptionally light and easy to wear.

This brooch is also available in pale blue, royal purple, and sage. Please check my accessories section for more color options.
