"The pedigree of honey does not concern the bee; the clover anytime to him is aristocracy."
Emily Dickinson.
So efficient and eloquent. There is something about bees that evokes the image of single minded focus and purpose. And it doesn't hurt that in the natural world they are so charming. Here they are, in all their chubby glory emerging from their hive.

This is a reproduction of an original acrylic painting. This image was featured in a line of greeting cards I did for Portal Publications. It is a traditional lithograph, not a giclee or digital print. Professionally printed on a Heidelberg press using fade resistant inks, the acid free cover stock has a slight luster which mimics the surface of the original and allows for a faithful replication of detail and color.

Image size: 8”x10”, 1/2" white border
