This artsy little bag will make a cheery statement throughout the holiday season. Created on a base of dupioni silk in chartreuse green with a shot of magenta, the trees and deer design has been cut from a Laurel Burch fabric that is resplendent in bright colours. The design on the flap has been outlined with a row of embroidery stitches in black and lime green and the asymmetrical flap has beads dangling from the lower edge. Look at the back of the bag and you will see a textured drift of hand embroidery that has been worked in two different threads.

This purse is lined with a magenta batik cotton and interlined with quilt batting for a bit of added structure.

The strap has been constructed of a twist of black cord and colourful decorative thread and ribbon and is securely double-stitched the length of the sides of the purse.

This would be a wonderful bag to wear absolutely anywhere during the holidays . . . the final photo shows a model wearing one of my purses of a similar size.

The stats:
Approximate Size: 7.8" x 7.3" (20 x 18.5 cm)
Drop from shoulder to top of purse: 18.5" (47cm)
Strap length: 38" (97cm)

This is my original design and has been constructed by me in my smoke-free, pet-free, fragrance-free home studio.
