A tiny patch of snow-covered forest stands ready to evoke a peaceful feeling of nostalgic winters-past.

In my ongoing love-of-all-things-vintage, I ran across these shallow reproduction enamelware bowls one beautiful day. At once, I knew they would be a perfect display for this gathering of vintage-inspired trees.

A few years back, I created a little scene much like this and set it on our coffee table. My children {and most other guests who came calling} were mesmerized by this little scene. My favorite comment overheard was, "I just want to go there." :)

This vignette includes:

* one ~ 8-inch reproduction vintage-inspired enamelware bowl {white with a black rim} lined with pure cotton {I've attached this cotton with double-sided tape, so as not to be permanently attached, which can be removed easily if desired}

* three ~ 3 1/2 inch green bottlebrush trees {hand-dyed, painted, and generously glittered with genuine mica glitter}

* a handful of plastic "snow"

* a sprinkling of genuine mica glitter

Assemble this vignette in a jiffy and place it out for all to see.

* * * While this vignette is irresistible to children, please keep it out of reach of little hands as it has small pieces and is not meant to be eaten by little mouths. :) * * *

* I carry more winter scenes and bottlebrush trees here: *

Thanks for peeking and HAPPY WINTER! :)
