Beeswax Food Wraps Bumper Pack: Reusable Cling Film Alternative

Here at BeeEco Friendly I am making reusable beeswax food wraps, a brilliant environmentally friendly biodegradable alternative to clingfilm.

You can use your reusable beeswax food wraps for so many things, from wrapping cheese and sandwiches, to storing food (and other) items within the kitchen.

Your first time: When your wraps arrive give each one a gentle scrunch before using the natural warmth of your hands to shape the wrap around your food.

When they need a clean: Use a cold damp cloth and wipe your food wrap clean or give it a rinse under cold water. Leave wraps to dry naturally ready to be used over and over.

The lifespan of a beeswax food wrap: This varies depending on how often they are used and the care they are given. Take care of your wrap and it will last around 6-12 months before needing a refresh.

The food wraps have so many uses but please avoid raw meat and fish and do not use in the dishwasher or microwave (you will melt away your wax if exposed to heat).
