Indian wood stamp beautifully hand carved in India around 100 years ago. This indian wood stamp is made out of pear wood which is a hard wood used for textiles, pottery designs, and printing on paper and/or fabric. It can be used for anything that has a surface: fabric, paper, wallpaper, clay...This indian wood stamp is an original unique design that have been handpicked out of a small shop in India. The wood is dark and if you look closely, you can see the hand carving marks. They are pretty heavy and are very sturdy.

This stamp is a cutout organic design of flowers, leaves, and other simple shapes creating a beautiful pattern.

The stamp is in very good condition, which is very rare for these old intricate stamps.
It can be a repeat design that can be stamped next to one another to make a continual pattern, or it can be stamped separate to make it's own design.

Watch this short video on how these stamps are made in India, and how they use them to wood block print on fabric. It's quite extraordinary.
