The fish is a potent symbol in many traditions. The early christins used it to identify each other. In the Norse traditions it is the salmon that has all knowledge. In Celtic tradition the salmon ate the acorns from the Tree of Knowledge and the first person to eat this fish would be all knowing.

This little fish has definite Celtic influence. Made out of tarnish resistant copper wire for the frame and then wrapped in raw copper. The raw copper is oxidized and contrasts well with the shiny copper. The pendant is approximately 1 inch wide and 2 inches long. It is suspended from a brown waxed cotton cord measuring 16 inches, including hand made hook and eye clasp.

This beautiful piece will be presented in a black organza pouch, ready for gift giving and is ready to be dispatched within 2 days of receipt of cleared payment.

Thank you for looking. I hope you like my craft :)
