Celebrate your own bit of Pioneer history with this ceramic souvenir plate by Kettlesprings Kilns. The plate celebrates the Centennial of a sweet little town called Plainview, Nebraska, pop. 1.500. Plainview had it's birthday party in 1986, and the plate celebrates such milestones as "The Frost Block on the Corner of Main and Locust," and the "First Congregational Church, 1904." 8 decorative medallions in all, in brown glaze on white.

In very good condition for age. There is one dark speck under the clear glaze, from the glazing process. Wear in the surface of the edge, but no chips or cracks. Some weird red marks on the back, possibly from rubbing against something else, or maybe from sitting on a red shelf for a long time? I expect them to come off with some elbow grease.
A nifty piece of wall art for a farmhouse or the kitchen of a plains dweller, or simply to celebrate the Pioneer Spirit in all of us!

10 inches in diameter.
