A vintage apothecary bottle with white screw top cap. It is marked "Nuevo Compuesto Vegetal de Pinkham", which roughly translates to "Pinkham's New Vegetable Compound". It measures 8 3/8" x 3 7/8". Lydia Pinkham produced her famous vegetable compound tonic and mass marketed it starting in 1876. It generally contained licorice, camomile, pleurisy root, Jamaica dogwood, black cohosh, life plant, dandelion root and at one time 18% alcohol. I'm not sure how rare this bottle is since it is in Spanish. Dusty and perfectly aged with no cracks or chips that I can see. A great addition to an existing collection, or great all on its own for display.

All items in my shop are at least twenty years old. I have spent time researching each piece to ensure its vintage integrity.

All sales are final.

If you have any questions please contact me and read my store's policy BEFORE purchasing because ALL SALES ARE FINAL. I do combine shipping for a multiple item purchase, so please convo me if that is the case so that I can set up a custom listing that will lower your overall shipping rate.

Thank you!
