This is one of my competition dresses. The dress is a champaign silk doupioni with all the floral design hand embroidered in hunter green, and with hunter green hand made flowers. Each flower has a green bead in the center. The bodice is lined in cream polished cotton and boned according to the period. The sleeve is a single puff sleeve with epaulettes with fringe on the end. The bodice back is laced up the back through handmade eyelets. The back does have the decorative "bow" at the back as in the print that I copied for the dress in the hunter green cotton velveteen (same as the "Vs" on the skirt. This garment is 3 pieces: bodice, bow, and skirt. The hunter green ballgown headpiece and the shoes (size 6) comes with the garment.

The waist measures 28" and a bust of 34". The ballgown bodice was a size "10" from Past Patterns ballgown pattern.

The dress has won many national competitions. The condition is in very good condition with minimal wear noted.
