This wonderful image was taken by Frank Rowell, portrait photographer; Winter St., Boston. I have attached an ad from the Boston Directory from 1868 for his photo studio. This helps to date this image.

This carte is in good condition. There are a few minor marks on the front surface and a bend at the bottom. The bend is just a crease on the front that you can se in the photo, the back of the crease is a bit heavier on the back. This is still a very sturdy carte with a wonderful image.

I have more images on the way. I was able to purchase a partially complete family photo album and will be listing the images individually with as much information on the individuals photographed as possible. I have always felt it is important to 'rescue' old images of people. Someone loved them and I always wonder how the images got out into the world to me.

This gentlemans name was Frank (Cummings?) the handwriting is very bad and hard to read. His wifes name was Ida.

I will ship internationally. Please contact me for shipping amounts to your country.
