Artifact Analysis:
The Kezzarit Desert in the Landus Fantasticus is a harsh, unforgiving place. Few animals—and even fewer people—make their homes there amongst the dry sands.

Yet there are a few people that do travel there.

The Terrazan, the Desert Nomads, are a group of people who periodically enter the Kezzarit wasteland. Why they do so, however, is a carefully guarded tribe secret. If they are searching for something, they never tell. If there find the harsh climate a challenge that makes them stronger, they never tell. If they simply do it for a change of pace, they never tell.

A close-lipped people, they have nonetheless captured the imagination of the Landus Fantasticus—and perhaps, that in and of itself is what they desired.

This pair of hairsticks is made in the shades of the desert: brown and cream and gold, glass and tiger eye and bone. It looks as if it could have been worn by one of the Desert Nomads, on the continuing journey that only they understand.
