A stunning Czech art glass vase, made in translucent brown glass. Made by the Zelezny Brod glassworks, also known as Železnobrodské Sklo (ZBS), and probably designed by Miloslav Klinger. Still bears the original factory label. Would make an excellent addition to any collection!
the glass has a wonderful partly smooth and partly sand texture,handblown.

Bohemian glass, is a decorative glass produced in regions of Bohemia and Silesia, now in the current state of the Czech Republic.
The Zelezny Brod glassworks, also known as Železnobrodské Sklo (ZBS), was created in 1948 as a result of nationalisation. At this time it was made up of nine glass factories in the town of Zelezny Brod, Czechoslovakia. ZBS is probably best known for it's popular free-formed vases and bowls, designed by Miloslav Klinger during the 1950's/60's.
