this one of a kind assemblage has been created by Philip Jenkinson using genuine antique artifacts. antique gilt 19thc. wooden wall clock case, vintage porcelaine doll, real Atlas moth wings and antennae(largest moth in the world), antique brass key, brass lock, antique letters and mechanical drawings.

the assemblage is sealed behind glass, the front door of the case opens, also it has glass sides, original loop on back so ready to hang. signed and dated by the artist.

The assemblage of "found objects" informs much of my art. I like to co-opt these "lost things" into the service of a new-found purpose where they form new relationships. The familiar is recontextualized and ojects are redeemed, reborn, visually echoing our own capacity for redemtion through contemplation, desire and dreams.
