First off..... I did not make the watch - lets make that absolutely clear! I do not work in a small factory in China, so therefore it would be ridiculous to make that claim. I did on the other hand make the lampwork beads that I have decorated it with and pulled the watch pendant somewhat apart and remade to fit these beads.

The watch is a really cute ball shape with working movement (reputed to be Japanese movement, but it came from China, so hmmmm, I shall let you make up your own mind there). The specs that come with it:

Type :necklace watch
Japan Quartz Movement
Daily water resistant
Battery included.
Diameter: 2.8CM
Chain: 15 1/2 inches

It is easy to change to the time on this one using the old fashioned method of pulling up the knob, adjust the time and push the knob back down.... easy. The battery can be easily changed by a watch place fairly cheaply, I personally have not pulled one apart to do it myself, but if you are a clever one you most likely could do so.

The pendant portion of this necklace is 11cm from the top of the handmade lampwork bail to the bottom of the chain dangly bit. The lampwork bead bail is essentially a large hole bead very similar in size to the pandora ones - without a core obviously. The Lentil bead is 8mm wide delicate floral bead and has been installed with a couple of small iron filligree bead caps. The colour of the chain, dangle and body of the pendant is a sort of distressed or aged brass.... and yes, it really does look rather steampunk.

the bail and lentil bead match and were made using an opaque purple base with tiny floral motif in a multicoloured glass with blue centres to the flowers and some small white flowers as well.

All my beads are kiln annealed for strength and durability and I thoroughly clean them of bead release. I am proud to be a member of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers (ISGB) and are a Self Representing Artist both internationally and as a member of the Australian and New Zealand SRA organisation.

Price includes postage & packaging to any location in the world.
