I love crocuses and had them in mind when I dyed this 420 yard skein of Cherry Tree Hill Supersock Select 100% superwash merino fingering weight sock yarn.

I immersion-dyed two seven-foot segments leaf green. Between those, I hand-painted a 22-foot segment with lavender and orange, and another 22-foot segment with blue and orange.

Knit at 8 stitches per inch in a 64-stitch sock, I estimate that the hand-painted segments will be 3/4 or one inch wide and the green segments will be 1/4 inch wide.
