Blue, Ball, Glass Mason Jar. These jars were patented in 1853, which means this jar is probably 100 to 150 years old. These particular jars are certainly harder to come by, especially in such good condition. They are beautiful jars with wonderfully imperfect air bubbles in the glass which add greatly to their charm. They can be used as a decor item or for storage, whatever you choose it's function to be, I'm sure it will become one of your cherished objects. There is a very small nick area on the bottom rim, This area is very smooth so it may just be an imperfection in the glass.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS – Please Note: Please contact me for a shipping quote to your particular country. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.: These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior. If items are never delivered that is the buyers responsibility, we will keep records on our end as proof that item in fact was shipped. I always compare prices of all major carriers in order to get you the buyer the lowest possible price.

As in almost all vintage items this piece has signs of wear, it has a beautiful patina, with some scratches and scuffs. All of these things added together is what makes these vintage pieces so attractive to us. It takes us back to an earlier, simple time, when things were not throwaway and disposable. reclaim-bring it back home. repurpose-chances are it won't be used in its original form, the possibilities of use are only limited by your imagination. reuse-too much from our lives is throwaway. we need to find new and creative ways to reuse, so we do not completely drown in the disposable:)
