This is a lot of 4 Monterrey Western Ware Dinner Plates. They are made of enamel covered tin and were given as premium gifts with groceries in t he 1950's at grocery stores in the midwest USA. These are yellow enamel and hand painted with brown around the rim and brown cattle brands on the edge of the plates. They measure approx. 10 1/4" in diameter. The center of the plate is sunken and it is approx. 8" in diameter and 3/4" deep. The rim where the cattle brands are measures approximately 1" . The brands are approx. 3/4" tall and there are 12 brands in brown on each plate and all in random order,. It uses basic colors of yellow, brown, red, and blue for the center chuckwagon and fire picture. On the bottom is the logo of the company that makes this dinnerware. It says " Monterrey Western Ware, Made In Mexico".

These plates are in very good condition except for the following:
Plate #1 - Flaw from factory on the JJ brand and 1 chip in the brown rim
Plate #2 - Cutting marks on plate from use and 3 chips in brown rim
Plate #3 - Flaw in A brand and scuffing on the back, no chips in brown rim
Plate #4 - no chips or flaws
