Running water
Beneficial for hard stones only, the water neutralises negative energies and returns it back to the earth. Rinsing under a natural stream of water is best, but under a tap is useful too.

Salt water
Historically known for absorbing unwanted energy and banishing negativity, salt water is great for hard stones such as quartz and amethyst.

Brown rice
Perfect for all crystals, these draw out negative energies by absorbing it. Bury the stones in dry brown rice for 24 hours and throw out the rice away from home/workplace immediately after.

Natural light
Most beneficial on a full moon night and other points in the solar or lunar cycle, this cleanses and recharges most crystals in 10 to 12 hours.

The crystal should feel energetically and physically lighter to the touch.

Store them in cool dry place when you’re not wearing them, perhaps a soft pouch. Avoid direct sunlight to keep it from fading. The crystals absorb your energy and intentions; hence it is best to avoid others from touching it.

Find mindful places to keep your crystals such as where you would spend most time, or where you need them to work the best aligning with your intentions. For example, Citrine is best for success and abundance and hence works well when placed in an office or work space. Keep them near windows or plants to allow them to absorb natural healing energy.
